Our guide to preparing print artwork
Well prepared artwork is the most important factor in creating a great printed product. Although we can print from a very wide range of file types and formats, to ensure the best possible results please use our preferred Artwork Specifications below, or download one of our Adobe InDesign templates to help*:
- File format – PDF, eps or 300dpi JPEG
- Colour format – CMYK*
- Ensure artwork supplied is to the exact size purchased
- Full page adverts require 3mm bleed all round
- Safe Zone – 5mm
- Resolution – 300dpi
- Fonts – ensure all fonts are embedded or changed to outlines
- No printer registration marks/colour bars
- Please note that RGB and Pantones will be converted to CMYK and that may affect the final colours.
